Here are some pictures of my Golden Retriever Sally

I got a new Golden Retriever puppy back in September and I really should have been blogging about her growth. I’m taking the time now to chronicle her first 8 months and post some pictures for posterity.

My old Golden “Cajun” died last year after being with us for 14 years. That dog saw me through college, three presidents, and the dark and direction-less blur I call my late twenties.

I thought I would never have another dog, but it’s amazing how big a hole is left in your life when your dog dies. A client of mine had a friend with a beautiful Golden and a new litter of puppies. I succumbed to the invitation to go see the puppies and ended up leaving with a beautiful light colored Golden puppy.

Sally is 8 months old now, but here are some pictures of her right after I got her.
